I have experience editing general, academic and non-academic documents across the disciplines in the humanities, social sciences, and life sciences. I offer three basic types of editorial services:

• Developmental Editing

This entails working with the client, or author, to develop a manuscript from the initial concept, to an outline or draft of the proposed writing piece.  It involves making suggestions about content, organization, and presentation of the original text.

• Copyediting

This involves the process of correcting grammar, punctuation, syntax, word usage, and spelling while preserving the meaning and voice of the original text. 

​

• Proofreading

This final step of the editing process requires correcting errors, inconsistencies, typographical errors, and verifying hyperlinks in the original text.
